したっぱプログラマーの日記(The diary of a minor programmer)

In the afternoon, we have the orientation. And we went to the Ayala Mall for exchanging the money and shopping. Ayala Mall is one of the biggest mall in Cebu. And Ayala is industrial conglomerate(zaibatsu in Japanese).

In Ayala Mall, I and Kazu met Shige. Shige is Kazu's agent for studying abroad. He gave us some advices about the life in Cebu, and we go to the restaurant to have a dinner together. We ate grilled meat. We could eat as much as we like for 530 peso at the restaurant.
(Sorry, I forgot the restaurant's name.)

Shige is familiar with TV game. So we had a likely conversation. (Because I am a game programmer.)

But I could't speak much about my work. Because I have a duty of protect secrets about my work.

We went back to SME campus by taxi. We arrived barely in the curfew. Today's curfew is 9:00 p.m. and we arrived 8:54 p.m.

I'm so tired today, but I'm more relaxed than yesterday.

Today is my first SME Sparta Campus day. SME is the language school in Cebu. And Cebu is the area in Philippine.

My room mate is Tiddy. He is so friendly. I'm very happy.

I met other Japanese student at breakfast. His nickname is Kazu and he comes from Nagoya. His job is promoting broadband services. I heard that there are only two Japanese in SME Sparta Campus, now. More than 90 percent students are Koreans.

I met a Korean student at breakfast, too. His nickname is Nachu. He is University student and he is so clever. He speaks English more fluently than me. I asked him whether all Korean speak fluently like him.

He said that It was case by case. Some Korean study very hard and the others don't study so much. So Some Korean speak fluently, and the others don't speak so frequently. But I think Korean study more hard than Japanese.

He is majoring in economics. His speech is interesting, so we had a lively conversation.

After breakfast, we had a level check test. It's too difficult for me. Especially listening test is so difficult.

久しぶりの更新です。しばらく忙しくしてましたが、時間ができたのでフィリピンに1ヶ月ほど短期の語学留学してくることにしました。

なんでフィリピンにしたかというと、

• 欧米より安い
• 安いからマンツーマンレッスンが多い
• 周りでフィリピンに語学留学した人はいないから話のネタになる
• スパルタらしいので話のネタになる

といったところ。

遅刻したり、門限を破ったりすると警告が与えられて警告ポイントが5になると強制退学らしい...

遅刻常習犯なので、もしかしたら1週間もたたずに強制送還させられるかも...
まあ、そのときはそのときでブログのネタになるからいいか...

口座にお金が入っていないのに気づかず、催促のメールもスパムに紛れ、催促状は昔の住所の所に送られ...
というのが続いたため、アカウント停止になってしまいました(T_T) 一度アカウント停止になると将来に渡ってYahooアカウントを取れなくなるらしいですorz

関係者の方々には、いろいろとご迷惑をお掛けしました。というか、これから迷惑が掛かる方々も多くいらっしゃると思います。（メール送ったのに届かないとか）。ごめんなさい。一番、申し訳ないのが、自分が管理者になっていたメーリングリストです。（たぶんなくなる？）近日、代わりのメーリングリストを作ることで対応しようと思います。

久しぶりに大きく凹みました。

とはいえ落ち込んでいても仕方ありません。親切な方から、いろいろとアドバイスをいただいたので、これを機会にいろいろと改善しようと思います。

• 口座には余裕を持ってお金を入れておく
• 登録メーリングリストは極力少なめにする（重要なメールが紛れるのを防止）
• 自動振り込みはクレジットカードにまとめる
• 引っ越した後の転送願いを毎年出す。（1年以内と思っていたのですが郵便局に毎年出せるらしい）

フランス人の方からマイミク申請がきて驚いた！

身に覚えがない上、最近、仕事がちょっと忙しかったため返事をしないでしまっていた。今日は、腰を落ち着けてレスする時間がとれたので頑張って英語でレスしてみた。

レスした後に気づいたのだけれど、どうやら先方は「私のホムペへのリンク張ってちょ」っていうことだったみたいだ。たぶん。

返事では「マイミク申請ありがとう！嬉しいよ！」ってな感じで完璧にスルーしてしまったorz
